If you have bought a ipad, is it worth purchasing a google nexus 10?

It actually holds up quite well. In truth, there is little to choose from the two.

I have to state that both devices are utterly fantastic. Neither one would make for a bad tablet pc option, so anyway you are onto a winner.

Due to a closeness of the competition, plenty of this answer is going to be subjective. Because I am a much bigger enthusiast of Apple’s iOS than We are of Google’s Android (though I do like Android lots) I will say the iPad represents the better package. Again, that is just my opinion. I’ve been using Apple computers for numerous years now and I’d personally not go over to anything else.

So, in order to respond this title in more detail, I went in for a second opinion. To the end, I spoke to Seb Warren, who is the founder of the brand new online consumer tech group AppleFanBoii, as well as a technology expert and all-round pleasant chap.

For Seb (who, admittedly, is really a little biased) the Nexus 10 has immediate advantages over the iPad within the areas of price and also the customizability of Android (contrasted with iOS). “Individually, and it’s coming from an Apple fanboy, Android wins” he said, “The iPad 4 is still running iOS 6, which includes a boring, stale layout. However, you can make the Nexus 10 yours”

He then went on to redeem himself in the eyes of his fellow ‘Apple-ites’ (they dislike it we call them that) by praising the iPad’s user-friendliness “If you’d like a tablet pc for ease of use, then its apple ipad 4 of course” he laughed, before adding “…and also the display is fantastic”.

When it comes to basic stats, the Google nexus 10 is lighter than the apple ipad 4 by some 50g, that’s substantial and renders the Google nexus 10 as the more portable of the two. Though, the apple ipad 4 has a slightly enhanced battery life. The iPad has an option for around 64GB of storage space, whereas the Google nexus 10 only goes as high as 32GB.

What really surprised me is that the Google nexus 10 actually has a superior display resolution than the iPad 4. The Retina Screen may become a great bit of branding, but recent tablets, like The Microsoft Surface, have equalled it (and even bettered it a few times) by way of screen quality.

Oddly, the more tech minded amongst you may well discover the Nexus 10 to be a better experience; it’s also the choice to make if money is a large reason in your decision. Yet, the apple ipad, with its winning mix of reliability, sterling status, ease of use and access to best app store around is definitely worth the extra cash in my opinion.
